Fundraising Opportunities : Events - Annual & Upcoming | Sponsorship & Donation Levels | Volunteer Opportunities

Events:

NWA relies heavily on traditional fundraising methods: events, cash and in-kind donations and grants. NWA also solicits sponsorships from businesses that operate in the community and have a common interest in supporting the teen population and vulnerable populations, who are being impacted by issues related to economic hardship and or other debilitating issues that may be completely out of one’s control.

Bingo!

Over the past year NWA has partnered with two other non-profit organizations in running a State licensed and Idaho Lottery governed Bingo operation in Garden City. This venture has proven to be very lucrative for all the non-profit organizations involved, while providing a highly desirable recreational activity for adults and the elderly. Bingo runs 7 days a week, with two sessions on Saturdays and Sundays. For fun, adventure and the possibility of winning some cash and of course supporting your local non-profit programs join the fun at BINGO! The bingo operation runs as a private club and membership is required.

For more information please call 208.376-1320 or visit the website at http://bingoboise.com/

Bingo allows for a ongoing funding source that is unlike grants and scholarships. So come out and support NWA!

Sponsorships are a valuable advertising and image medium for participating businesses. NWA’s image in the community will directly benefit all of its sponsors and all sponsors are approved by NWA’s Board of Directors.

Pledge Sponsors will commit an amount of monetary support to be paid monthly for a period of one or two years. All sponsors will receive recognition on NWA letterhead and in NWA publicity. Volunteer Opportunities:

Northwest Alternatives Inc (NWA) seeks volunteers to help launch the opening of the Teen Center and on-going fundraising events in our community. NWA is a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization supporting recreational, educational and sports related activities. Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment during out-of-school time. A Teen Advisory Council is one of many unique characteristics of the Center where teen members are actively involved in all aspects of operation. We are dependent on fundraising events, grants, donations and sponsorships to sustain. We need volunteers to serve on fundraising committees and other projects. If you have any interest in helping or want more information, please contact us TODAY!
